Rainy Day... Road flooded...My unforgetable experience.

This morning, the rain fall quite heavily, perhaps we receive some blessing from God after the haze period, to feed us more fresh air. However, the sad thing is, heavy rain has caused part of the road that i must pass through flooded around 1 ft high. Before I came to this flooded section, as usual, traffic started to jam. However, the cars are still moving slowly.

I started to feel a bit regret since I have somehow predicted this when i saw the jam around 50m before the jam and there is a choice to do a U-turn for alternative route. Since, I am in the jam now, so I can only follow the traffic through. Following the traffic slowly in the jam, suddenly i saw another alternative road to turn back, hesitating whether to force towards the junction since i'm not in the lane nearest to the junction, then again, I've passed that junction. Oh god... what have i done! "OK, since the cars are moving, maybe the flood ahead is not that bad afterall," that's what i have consoled myself.

Oh shot, it's my turn to cross the 1 ft high flooded session up to around 20m long. "OK, easy, easy" that's what i have told myself seeing 2 cars have run through successfully ahead of me. However, the depth of the water really terrifying. What have i bring myself into, having 2 chance to take alternative route. "Should i wait? should i go?" without much time to hesitate, I shifted my manual gear to "1" and prepare to rush through it.

"1... 2... 3... Go! Go! Go!" Hearing the water outside the door splashing, and surprising the water splash ahead of me run above my bonet, and splash onto my windsheild. "Oh God, that deep! the water, my car is going to die off." Then, my car suddenly slow down, even though my still stepping on the gas pedal really hard, and my car seems like not going anywhere. "Oh God, what have I done....?" :(

Before I released the gas pedal, suddenly, the car started to move forward strongly again. "Thank god, thank god...." Totally confused with the situation, I quickly move out of the flooded session, and wondering what would happen to my car after that disastrous experience. Slowly, I drive while listening to any possible sound caused by just now incident. Hhmm.... seems ok, then I continue to drive to work. Hopefully my car will be alright.

Then I started to think what was happening just now... perhaps, when rushing through the water, the obstructions of the water has caused my front wheels to lift above the ground. When, my wheels fall back to the ground again, it started to rush through the water again.... Whew... what an experience.

What have I learn from this experience? Never hesitate whenever a decision is going to be made. Just go for it. Then, I also learn that, when we working really hard on a job or project and suddenly there is no significant improvement and we are not going anywhere, then we have to evaluate whether is the "wheels" lift from the ground because we are rushing my work, before we look for alternative way or change our strategy or give up. Mmm.... who knows? maybe it just needed more time to show the result. Never give up and Just do it !!!

Mobile Money

I recently encounter a service called Mobile Money. It's a very creative idea that provide alternative to Visa & Master Credit Card platform. As most of us know, we are the first country to implement smart card into our Credit Card and National Identify Card. For Mobile Money, it provide a combine implementation of e-wallet and mobile phone.

Mobile Money is a credit or debit account just like Visa & Master Card. However, instead of issuing you a credit card, it link the account to your mobile phone number. To charge your card, you provide your 16 digits account number to the merchant, and the merchant will charge your card in the system. For verification purpose, the system will send you a sms, and you are required to key in your 4 digits pin number and send an sms back to the system to complete the transaction. Therefore, it just act like a credit or debit card in your mobile phone.

What about the security issue? That's my first question towards this new concept. After studying the implementation, I found out that, it is basically safer than conventional Visa & Master Card.

1. The sim card is never handed over to a stranger to charge the card, therefore it is impossible to duplicate the card like it used to be.

2. If the phone is stolen, just like the Visa & Master Card, we have to report it immediately to to our bank to suspend any further transaction. Plus, with Mobile Money the guy is unable to charge the card even he has your phone unless he knows your pin number.

3. If your pin is stolen, the guy is unable to charge your card unless he got your phone and account number. Even if he is able to duplicate your sim card, the mobile service operator will void the service if it detected two identical sim card in the network.

4. If someone successfully hack into the sms center system to divert the traffic. If this happen, the mobile service operator will be in deep trouble, and you won't be liable for the any amount charged.

Then, it comes the questions "Why do we want to use Mobile Money when we already have Visa & Master?" Perhaps, it offers further security and better options. For the start, it may provide more incentive like cash back or more points/prizes for end user like us. For merchant, it may provide cheaper fee structure plus additional service to customer. For Bank, perhaps cheaper franchise fee, and hence better operationg profit.

However, Mobile Money is yet to be launced, and if the solutions is implemented successfully and bring to world, we'll be very proud to be Malaysian as this Malaysia concept as fas as i know.

Online PC Game turning into Virtual Reality

Read an article today on Virtual Trading today in Star InTech. A player in China kill his friend in real world because the friend sold the "Treasure" he found in the Online Game, which he has lent to him for money value of RM3,300 on an Auction Site.

The Virtual Reality we used to watch on Movie is coming true in todays world. One of my friend called Stanley is having business on Virtual Trade that bring good Revenue and Profit. They source the "Item or Treasure" of some online games like WOW(World of WarCraft), Lineage II, etc from China, and sell them online to main US, Europe players.

Surprisingly, they are a group of people in China called "Farmers" who are hired to play games days and nights to look for the "Item and Treasure". These items are collected and wholesale in bulk to the Reseller mainly in English Speaking country. Stanley sell the items online @ http://www.offgamers.com and oso @ ebay.

Perhaps, players can express themselves more freely in the game with the super power that is impossible to gain in the real world. This will provide players a strong sense of achievement. Stanley told me that, there are even a gang of players team up to protect those area where u can get the powerful weapons or the block the gateway so that u have to pay virtual golds to get pass. Virtual gold has Hard Currency Value as well. You can sell those virtual gold in auction place in exchange for CASH.

Another even more unbelievable thing is, there is a guy called David Storey, bought a virtual land for USD26,500 in a game called Project Entropia. And, of course there is a title for the land just as real land. Guess what? he has some investors behind him to fund his purchase.

He said:" I do believe the purchase has challeged people's perceptions and blurred the border between the real and virtual worlds, and I also believe that this will be reinforced once we have demonstrated that it actually work."

Wow, what a statement, perhaps i should check out the Project Entropia... and Welcome to the Virtual Reality Age... Imagine your children make more money than u in the game when he is just 10 in the future..... hahaha.. that's possible.

Is Cancer a Norm?

Cancer seems to be a norm for our generation. One might ask what cause cancer, I have noticed that there are few answers provided by doctors during some interviews. It says "Cancers are caused by mutated cells in our organs." Is this the answer you got most of the time? But what causes the mutated cells in the first place? Some might says the polluted environment, some might says the side effect of modern technology where there is electromagnetic field all around, some might even says the foods are contaminated or the food has heavy chemicals... etc etc.

The above reasons might contribute to the cause of cancer, but are they the main reason? Or, is there anyway to avoid all of the above all at once? Or is it because our body getting more and more vulnerable? Have you ever in doubt that whether our body can defense the external attack of the external "pollution"? I have, seeing so many ppl spending they health to earn more money, and when they got old, more money is going to be spent for the medical fee.

When i was working in US and live alone in an apartment, I got a cold and have fever and cough. I went to doctor and bought some medicine from the pharmacy ( US's doctor not allow to sell medicine/drugs ). After 2 slice of bread, i drank the cough sirup, and went to sleep. After a while, my heart started to beat heavily, and i could feel that my whole body is going numb or something. Then i started to think... "Oh God, am i going to die here?"

Luckily after an hour or 2 after the cough medicine is over, my body is back in control but i felt really weak. Perhaps, I didn't have enough food before i took the medicine or the medicine is too strong for me. Off course, i wouldn't dare to drink that medicine again. After this "near death" experience, the lesson i learnt is never got sick when u are alone far away from home. ;)

Since then, I have been exercising and drinking more water and not allow me to get sick easily again. But, however, the vulnerability of our health as human being has been bothering me On/Off.
One day, I feel so glad that I attended a seminar that held by Anthony Robbins at Singapore. He share with us about the mind opening story on the cause of Cancer. The story begin with a famous city called New York City. As we know, big city like New York City produce lots of garbage and waste. During the old times, when New York City experience a high population growth, the city started to face serious problem when there is a desease spread widely by rats.

When this happened, the city mayors started to blame the rats for causing the disease that has harm the city. Therefore, he has a few city plan to killing the rats. However, they noticed that even they kill most of the rats, they will come back or reproduce themselves in a months or so. After some studies, finally they find out that, the rats are surviving on the waste or garbage from the overflow gargabe containers. And, the city garbage dispose system is overloaded, and a lot of garbage left behind the containers. Then, they started to clean up the remain overflow garbage in the city, and the rats start getting lesser and lesser.

Just like the story above, mutated cells are like the rats. But what causes the mutated cells are the garbages. When we overloaded our garbage dispose system in our body, the overflow garbage will be stuck inside our body and causes the mutated cells to grow. So, to avoid cancers, clean up the garbage. The God has designed our body to dispose the garbage very effectively only if we don't overload our body and we do exercise accordingly to get rid of the garbage.

Perhaps, there is only 2 ways... we either enhance our garbage dispose system, or we minimize the garbage by not putting junk food into our body. Therefore, stop eating junk food and do more exercises... then we live a more healthier, happier life.

Unhealthy Haze...

The Klang Valley haze is getting more and more serious. Has been bothering by the haze and have minor headache due to the haze. The clinic business will be getting busier.

Got a nice caring sms " Haze very bad in Klang Valley, perhaps u should reduce lung's risk. You must drink more water with Vitamin C, take more garlic, and wear surgical mask no matter where u go."

Pollution has been around all these while. But how many people really care? Just 2 days ago when i went to a car repair workshop, all those vehicle waste oil spill all over the floor, and the drain nearby is cover with thick dirty engine oil.

Yet, a lot of people wonder how come more and more people got sick or cancer at the age earlier and earlier. Is this related one might guess? I bet. Our environment is getting more and more polluted. Our air, our water, our food... etc. Food used to be grown naturally, and now there are manufactured in a unnatural way.

One day, I saw a quite touching message in a picture hanging against the wall. It says something like "We borrow the nature, environment, fresh air,..etc from our children, we don't own them". Every polluted substances created is a debt borrow from the future. At some point, our future generation got the pay the price we owe now.

Perhaps, this is another side effect bring by Capitalism where dollar value return is how we evaluate most or every thing around us. One day when the monetary system breakdown, it might release most of us back to our central basic and soul. By then, nature and environment, human nature connections become our priority again.

I Missed You...

I come across a message about the feeling of missing someone, that has resurface a sweet feeling of mine missing someone. Hope you will like it too.

Love

Have u ever missed someone and felt terrible because u think tat he/she doesn't miss u?
Missing someone is a terrible but at the same time, sweet feeling.

U will be sitting around wondering if u meant anything to him/her.
Thinking if he/she ever cares about u.

Rushing to the phone once it rings hoping that it's him/her.

Looking out of the window hoping that he/she will surprise u by appearing downstairs.

Sitting in front of the television but thinking of her/him missing the final episode of your favourite show.

Laying on your bed, thinking of the last time u when out together.

Thinking of how nice it will be to sit under the stars again, talking about everything, your
dreams, plans, future.

Logging on to the internet hoping to see him/her online.

When u realise that he/she isn't online and did not return your page, u will start worrying
if he/she is okay.

Missing someone is a way of growing up i guess.
It exposes u to loneliness.
It teaches u how to cope with being lonely and
let u know that there is actually a feeling known as emptiness.

Sometimes it feels good to miss someone.
U know that u really care and u indulge in the feeling of loving/caring for him/her.
But missing someone and not knowing if he/she is feeling the same is terrible.
U feel as if u are being left alone.
So if u miss someone, tell him/her and let them know.
At the same time, ask if they miss u.

Don't let the feeling of missing someone become jealousy or paranoid.
If u are the one being missed and u know it, let the other party know.
if u miss him/her too, tell them. Don't let them wait.

- End -

I remember I have most of the mention feeling before. It just seems like yesterday memories. Especially the "Surpries" part. I have had a fantasy that, the girl I love will suddenly show up and have a surprise that fate has pull us together. And, we are mean to be together. ;) Even though, it din't happened but it's a good feeling that I'll smile to myself for my naive thought.

Most of us will only miss someone when we are feeling lonely. Of course I'm not the exception. There is time when I miss a girl that i have had fallen in love to, but I din't give her a call even though i wanted to deep down in my heart. She's had rejected me quite a while ago, but somehow the feeling of beigh hurt will be digged out and stop me from calling her.

The feeling of logging on to the internet and hoping to see her is really sweet. I remember the most joyful moment that after a while, she really did online. Then, we started to flirt around chatting together, with the cute emoticons, big smile on the face, etc etc. I remember my roomate will definitely know I'm chatting when he saw the big smile on my face.

This is really a way of growing up. Somehow, I'm just not so silly and happy when the years pass by. Could it be I have pass that stage or I have stopped being myself?
